The only Metroidvania installment of the franchise I've played. Gameplay is high-quality and still difficult like in the old days. The RPG elements were pretty cool, as were the powers you gained from enemies. The plot didn't seem very interesting, but since when was Castlevania about the story? Check this one out if you want a solid, long-lasting platformer that is quite challenging as well. (Owned and not completed. Accurate rating is 7.75)
