A sequel that does immense justice to its classic predecessor. Mega Man X2 plays the same as the first game, but with expansions on the secrets, storytelling, and in a few cases, level design. There isn't much to say about the greatness of this game that wasn't already stated in my review of the original, but I can say that the new stages and bosses were completely on-par and the new additions were all well-implemented and added to the experience. Unlike the original, I've never managed to beat this one's endgame. Either it's even harder than the original (hard to believe) or I was just burnt out from playing through this straight after beating the first game. Anyhow, all fans of the original will love this game, and I recommend it to newcomers as well, though it'd be preferable to start with the original. (owned on X Collection, not completed (I'm not giving up though!), accurate score is 8.5)
