New Releases: What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
Despite losing its worth after the release of Grand Adventure, this game was great for One Piece fans back at in the day. Its engine is pretty much the same as Grand Adventure and the Japanese Grand Battle games, so if you've played those you'll know what to expect. If not, then expect deformed characters, free arena style combat, and a generally wacky feel. It may not sound like it, but this has and continues to work really well for One Piece and everything is well-designed to make for a very tight fighting game despite its humorous exterior. The cast is quite solid too, containing all the main characters at the time and most of the prominent villains up to the Alabasta saga. Great levels too, though they are rather limited in number. Like I said though, everything about this game is upgraded immensely on Grand Adventure and nowadays that's the game you should get. (owned and completed, accurate score is 7.75)
