Possibly my favorite fighting game, Soul Calibur II is as nostalgic as it is fun and interesting. The setting is amazing and the characters are awesome and pretty diverse. (Though the cast from III makes this one's look REALLY small in comparison) The story mode was wonderfully crafted to be simple but incredibly fun and full of material. Even the regular arcade modes are incredibly addictive and consistently entertaining. As such, I never find this game to get dull at all and I'll be very surprised if any other fighter impresses me as much as this did. (owned and completed. accurate score is 9.25)
